I'm having so much fun! You may not know it but I love reconstructing T-shirts old and new. In this case these 2 Nintendo shirts were at my work and I was like Hey these would make a really awesome purses. Why should guys get to have all the fun with classic Nintendo mascots?? The shirts weren't attractively cut for us girls. Normally I could have hacked and slashed and resewn them into anything at all but in this case I felt an affinity with tote bags. I really hope they go to a good home.

I had also sewn on a Samhain patch for my boyfriend and scrapped the remains into a girlie shirt but he liked me in it so much I had to keep it. I guess he paid for it (even if it was just for a patch from PART of a shirt) but hopefully soon I'll get to go shopping for rad shirt designs and possibly reconstruct some band shirts (since most of those come strictly in guy cut or that lame "baby doll"/youth size cut for girls) so keep an eye out in the clothing section!!
